Losing weight isn’t as easy as it seams for some people. There are those who are naturally lean that say with a bit of motivation and dedication the fat will go away. The fact is that people who are still overweight continually face criticism lowering their self esteem which does not help to achieve their weight loss goals. I am going to list 5 reasons why people overweight may find it hard to shred the extra calories. Read the story…
You may have come back from a holiday and found that you enjoyed yourself a little ‘too much’. Maybe you could have gone a bit easier on the buffet meals. I have been on holidays that there was so much to see, do and eat that I couldn’t fit in the time for some exercise. Don’t lose sleep over the extra weight, there are other people that don’t have the time for their fitness program while they are away but it is up to you to get back in shape when you return.
If you want to mix up your fitness program with some high intensity cardio then you should incorporate skipping. Many people don’t realize the potential from this exercise. You are able to burn around 150 calories in a single 20 minute workout. This amount is comparable to a person running at 12kph and since it is a low impact activity there is less risk of injury. The convenience of skipping at home, at work and outside makes it an excellent exercise to lose calories.
Weight gain is very common during pregnancy. Losing this weight after having a child is important for maintaining your health and providing a good role model for your kids. Also many women want to regain their pre-pregnancy weight for a positive body image. You have to be patient in losing the extra weight since becoming a parent has given you additional responsibilities.
